Why We Built This Site
Public access in West Virginia still requires knowing who owns a record. Brooke Magistrate Court has a public case search, but Brooke Circuit Court does not have an equivalent full statewide docket portal. Regional jail information comes from WVDCR rather than a Brooke jail roster. An official statewide personal history requires the fingerprint process used by West Virginia State Police CIB. Bringing verified office contacts, portal routes, request steps, and known fees together makes that divided system easier to navigate.
What You Will Find Here
- Record instructions: ways to find and read Brooke County court case records
- Official personal review: the WVSP, IdentoGO, and Form 136A routes for fingerprint-based records
- Agency details: contacts for the Brooke Sheriff, court clerks, WVDCR, and state systems
- Expungement information: where eligible West Virginia petitions are filed and processed
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference site with no connection to a West Virginia court, police department, sheriff, or state agency. Its limits are firm:
- It cannot retrieve an official record or conduct an official background check
- It cannot submit FOIA requests, expungement petitions, or other papers for a reader
- It cannot certify a court file, arrest report, or fingerprint history
- It cannot give legal advice about a charge, warrant, case, or eligibility for relief
- It cannot promise that an agency's address, fee, hours, or procedure has not changed
An official document must come from its custodian, such as the Brooke court clerk, the arresting agency, WVDCR, or West Virginia State Police CIB.
Search Partners
Third-party providers power search boxes on some pages. Those providers control their own prices, data, and results. A paid signup reached through a tool may generate a referral fee that supports the site. The site does not control partner charges or guarantee the completeness of partner results.
